Guest guest
If it were me I'd just keep on with the routine and do the leg workout the next day. I know from experience that I would never progress if I didn't work out through my soreness, whether it's running on sore muscles, or lifting weights on sore muscles. Just my opinion.. in WI Question for you Experts..... > I am gradually working up to actually running (when I am not > spitting out my lungs I kind of enjoy it). Guest guest
That kind of brutal soreness is always worst when you start a new exercise or activity. It will get a whole lot better in the coming weeks. Unless you think that you might be injured, ignore the soreness and get your workouts in. Exercise will increase blood flow to the muscles and alleviate some of the stiffness and pain. Personally, I've been sore every single day for like the last decade. :-) I wouldn't be getting much exercise if I waited until nothing hurt. Question for you Experts..... Guest guest
Thanks you guys! That is kind of what I was hoping to hear. That soreness is almost like something I have earned......and I like it. : ) Is that weird? Kim

I am the same way. I worry when I'm not sore and know it is time to change up the exercises and push myself a little harder.
