It seems as there are fewer posts. How is everyone doing in their quest for a better stronger body? also, I would like to know how many people are following the body for life work outs, body for life eating plan and/or eating for life eating plan. If not, what work-outs do you do and what eating philosophy do you follow? Maybe this can stimulate some conversation and help each other out. I'm still here and learning a lot. I haven't posted as much as before because I was afraid I might complain too much. I have been having a very challenging time lately and I have gotten discouraged. I know you don't need hear about that but would rather be inspired and encouraged. I am very upset that I have " fallen off the wagon " due to the change in my schedule with my husband being out of town. My boys are waking up sooo early that I can't get my workout in and I refuse to wake up in the 4:00 hour. Handling my high maintenance boys is mentally and physically exhausting. As I try to type this now they are whining, calling my name and literally climbing on me. When I slip a little I tend to go all downhill and just in the past week my eating has gone out the window as well. Very sad... I am in the 11th week but at this point I plan to start again fresh once things get back to normal around here. To answer a few other questions regarding my BFL experience... I follow the workouts of BFL at home. I eat according to the original book. I don't use any supplements so I end up eating either eggs, fish, or chicken for every meal. After about the second week on BFL I started getting really tired. I'm still tired and drained a lot and wish I had more energy. I was not hungry on the plan. I began at 152. I currently weigh 150 - 152 depending on when I weigh myself. My measurements fluctuate. I lost some inches in the first month but then my 2 month reading showed an increase in some areas. I measured just the other day and again it looked like I increased a little, which was disappointing. I figure I'm just measuring incorrectly because I was faithful with the exercise and my eating. I probably have to work harder with the cardio. It's very hard for me. I hate exercise! My goal was to fit into size 10 pants. I started at size 12 and while those are baggy I still can't fit into 10s. Okay, I simply cannot fight these crazy boys anymore. Ugh. has made it up onto the chair and is now climbing on my back like a monkey. Ridiculous! I'll post again when I get back on track. Guest guest
- I hear you on the husband being out of town. Mine has been gone since last Wednesday, he's coming home tomorrow (yeah!) and I couldn't be happier. It is extremely tough to do the mommy thing 24/7 without a break. It sounds like your boys are very energetic! Do they sit still at all? When I get up at 6 to do cardio, my 3 yo often wakes up with me and she's happy if I turn on the TV give her some milk and graham crackers. My 5yo on the other hand, would like to have a deep heart to heart when she is up at that time and she gets upset when I say *pant* Honey, I can't *pant* talk right now *pant* give me *pant* 5 more minutes, while I'm pedalling away on the bike. Do they nap? Go to school? Oh, the one thing I don't know is if you work outside the home or not. If you do, then ignore a lot of what I said, because it may not apply. You'll get back on track when you can. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Remember that it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Hope your DH gets home soon! I used to work out at home but it was very hrad to work out and watch my 3 kids at the same time. when I was trying to hit my 9's and 10's weight lifting it got stressful. the one thing I did do sometimes was workout at night after I put them to bed. That worked out well, and I was still able to sleep at night.
