Guest guest
You're sort of right. The extent to which you have cellulite is largely determined by your genes. However, one's natural propensity to look like one's legs are made of cottage cheese can be reduced by losing fat, gaining muscle and keeping yourself very well hydrated. Cellulite isn't some special substance -- it's just fat with a distinctive appearance. Less fat, less chance of cottage cheese. > That's interesting..... how does the cardio work at getting rid of > the cellulite? Guest guest
I am living proof that even if you have it at one time, diet and exercise can help tremendously in reducing the appearance of it. Here is a link to a picture I took of my rear end and the back of my legs after my first challenge last year. Before I started this challenge, I had a fair amount on the back of my thighs halfway to my knees and also on my rear end. I ended up with little to no cellulite left.... http://f1.pg.photos./ph/melaniemiller2002/detail?.dir=/50af & ..dnm=7caf.jpg M. > That's interesting..... how does the cardio work at getting rid of > the cellulite? Guest guest
> Cellulite is nothing more than textured fat. It is genetic so in a sense you(we) are stuck with it. However, the more fat is lost the more cellulite is reduced so its appearance is going to become less textured the more the fat comes off. Eventually with enough fat loss it will barely be noticeable. If you were to put the fat back on though the cellulite would come back. So the answer is to continue with the HIIT cardio. There isn't anything special about getting rid of it any more than getting rid of any fat. Hope this helps. > >
