Your body BP control systems are reacting to your suddenly lowered BP

and it will take 30-90 days to stabilize out. Read Guyton's section on

the baro receptor.

Please get the complete pathology report and keep it for your and your

families files.

You should share it with us if you want.

Any post op measures of K, renin and aldo?

List all drugs you are taking now. Would assume you are off all BP

meds now.

BTW congrats on your success and I hope we have the Gaz's story in

detail somewhere. If not please give it to us when you are up to it.

Did you have AVS before I dont recall.

You could share your good Drs with our files for future folks in your

area.

Oh thats good news iv'e been a little worried about my pulse. I am completely

off all my pills at the moment, was left on co approval 300mg but bp hit 96/57

so they took me off that too. I have given u my storey a few time before now

As regards to my Path report my endo wouldnt show me it but said it was fine.

Saw the surgeon on Thursday he showed me it and said he will send me a copy so i

will post it when it arrives. I dont think its as good as it could be because i

remember it saying a 50mm growth with nodules in the main mass and outer cortex

and it mentioned the gland showed signs of hyperplasia so im pressuming i could

have future problems, all seems fantastic at the moment thou. I DIDNT have AVS

done pre surgery they didnt feel it necessary.

, my best wishes to you for your continuing good health. Is your high

heart rate bothersome for you?

It seems we have a problem getting people to write their stories and put

them into the " Stories " section of the Files. Dr. Grim, would it be kosher

to capture people's stories and put them there? I'm afraid we might upset

some. While I really appreciate hearing the stories, it is difficult to go

back and try to remember. I think, especially for new people, being able to

read the stories in the Files section would be really informative. There is

virtually no way to go back through over 10,000 posts and find the stories.

I feel very indebted to the people who have posted here and wish to make it

easier for those who follow.

Thats what they all say. Chances are neither he nor surgeon actually

looked at the slides. I always do. Being from MO and all. It would

be nice to set up a central reading programs where slides could be read

by real experts in the adrenal histopathology arena.

The path you give does suggest bilateral hyperplasia and expect a slow

return of BP and K problems but may be years.

Reason we do AVS but if K and BP was not controlled this is a

reasonable intervention. If AVS had shown bilat disease I would have

tried harder with different drug combos but sounds like you have made a

big improvement.

Thanks for the update.

We will need to tell them how to add their stories to the file and how

to update it as time evolves.

Will most be able to do this. I am not sure I can for example.

Dr Grim i asked a question about 2 months ago about a noticable change

in my pulse rate post surgey. I had my surgery 3 months ago now and bp

readings are quite stable however my pulse dosnt seem to have

stabilised at all. I remember you saying it takes 90 days or so to do

this, and its been that long now.

For example, did some weights thisafternoon and bp was 135/90 pulse 90

after doing several sets, just taken my bp from rest now and readings

120/84 pulse 110, its starting to worry me again any ideas on this.

I would consider these as normal. Are you sure your device records

pulse accurately? Some do not.

Are you taking any meds??
