I'm originally from the Auburn area and that's where my Mom and brother still are. in WI day 2 of my detox > Well, today went a little better. Guest guest
Pretty cool to meet people on-line who are so close to my home town. I have an old high school friend who last I remember was teaching music in either a Leominster public school or a private school around there somewhere (in Ayer I think). Alyson Cordro is her name - pretty slim chance that you'll know her. But funnier things have happened - I actually got re-connected with another high school friend through another member of this board. I thought that the member was this friend of mine, asked her if it was her, it wasn't but amazingly she knew the girl I was talking about. Weird.... Anyhow - have fun with the snow! We don't have much any more, but it's still chilly and last year we had a snowstorm in April, so plenty of time left! in WI Re: day 2 of my detox > I am in Leominster. Pretty close to Auburn. Guest guest
Do you mean Meola's Ice Cream or Kimball's ice cream? Kimballs is by far the best in all of central Mass hands down! Searstown is still there and now there is a Filene's and JC Penney and Circuit City and Old Navy and you name it we have it. They are going to be building a Walmart superstore on Rt 117. Take care. Guest guest
The name sounds familar but I don't know why. I don't know of a private school in Ayer. There is Cushing Academy in Ashburnham or Applewild in Fitchburg. I actually grew up in Fitchburg. (Mean streets!) just kiddin. It was pretty tame compared to like Lawrence or Lowell. Take care. Guest guest
Her husband is a firefighter I think. Maybe she taught public school in Ayer and private somewhere else... who knows - we don't keep in touch much anymore. Thanks for the input!
