Guest guest
Good for you ! :)I should try that one again soon. I haven't been doing much kickboxing lately and I realy need to. As much as I like stepping, I just don'g think it works the arms like a good kickboxing workout does w/ gloves.. DarcyOn 3/2/06, fitgrl222@... <fitgrl222@...> wrote: Hi, This evening I done Kick, Punch & Crunch. I really had to push myself to even get started, you all know how that is. It was rough starting out because I just didn't feel like doing it, but once I got mid way in the conditioning drills I was ok. I used my weighted gloves which makes a huge difference. I burned 475 calories and was in the zone 48 minutes. I've noticed my weight staying down since doing cardio just about every evening, I think it's really doing its thing for me. Well, off to watch the American Idol results show!

Guest guest
You're doing so great . I have been working out lately like a beast and the scale is up a few pounds. It usually fluctuates, but it's been stuck up. Weird. I wonder if I'm gaining muscle from leg presses?? I don't know. Either way, I have yet to workout today. I was too tired to do it this morning and haven't had the chance yet today. I hope that the boys go to sleep so I can get a workout in. Or else, it may be a day off. My first day off since the first week of February... I'd rather take a day off and feel good and dosomething fun, then sit around and be lazy and eat all day which is exactly what I did. Hubby is on the road working all week now and is only home on the weekends. It's taking a toll on me and Sawyer. Poor bugger misses his dad something fierce.Speaking of which, if anyone is curious or bored, I have a couple videos up of Sawyer and one minor one of Bryar at www.dropshots.com/darcy They shouldn't take too long to download. Sawyer is singing his favorite song and I have him dressed in a biker jacke w/ his shades on. : )Darcy On 3/9/06, fitgrl222@... <fitgrl222@...> wrote: Tonight I done Low Max. If I had to guess I'd say you've gained some muscle in your legs. I notice that when I workout harder my weight either goes up a pound or two or stays the same. I hate leg presses and I've been avoiding them lately. I done them so much while doing the Firm rotation that I'm sick to death of them. I think that if you haven't had a rest day in that long then you're overdue for one. I say take that rest, do something fun and get right back to your workouts the following day. You just might see your weight drop a little too.
Guest guest
Thanks for your thoughts ... I didn't get up early this morning to workout. I did have a great workout last night to Cardio and Weights, then I did Corey Everson Get Hard Arms, and then Ab ripper 200 or whatever it's called. I have some kind of cold coming on too. The sun is shining and hubby is home tonight. So, it will be a good day finally! (LOL, the last two have been cruddy) Darcy who may have an active recovery day.........On 3/10/06, fitgrl222@... < fitgrl222@...> wrote: In a message dated 3/9/2006 7:22:03 P.M. Guest guest
I did Rodney Yee's Power Yoga for Stamina tape -- that's not the hour-long Yoga Burn DVD, but another older one I've had a while -- and got an attack of palpitations almost as soon as I started so I had to quit. I tried to keep going but it wasn't going to work. Once the palpitations stopped, I went back and finished. Probably a good thing I didn't choose a longer and harder workout tonight. This one used to really kill me, though, with all those up and down dogs, but tonight it was a breeze (minus the palpitations) so I've apparently improved a lot. Guest guest
Hi ,Glad to hear you had a great workout again.. I did too, and I wasn't sure I was going to get a good one in. I did Tae-Bo Advanced Live 7. I had planned to stop at the 30 minute mark and then do some lower body strength training, but I couldn't stop..LOL.. I was really enjoying the workout. Even with Bryar crawling all over me. Anyway, I then had to cook supper, eat, and then I did Legs and Glutes afterwards. I also did Austin hit the spot abs, and then ab ripper 200...... I seem to be doing 2 hours of exercise lately. I think it's bizarre how I kind of just do more w/out even realizing it.. I mean, it's like I move up a notch. I don't feel like I've worked out enough on a particular day and then pretty soon every day I'm doing that much more cuz I feel I 'need' it... Anyone else do this??? What is the Inventor anyway? Are you watching the unan1mous one? (sp?)DarcyOn 3/23/06, fitgrl222@... <fitgrl222@...> wrote: Hi, This evening I done Circuit Max. This is a super fun workout. Anyone else do this??? Oh I know I've worked out alright, but at the end of the week when I count up how much I worked out I amaze myself. Last week I put in over 10 hours. I've been getting in close to 2 hours of exercise a day. My workout in the morning and then my cardio in the evening. Sometimes I think doing that much working out could cause a burn out, so be careful with that, it's happened to me before. My body is so sore right now STILL from PLB other day. My hamstrings, low back and inner thighs are still so sore, plus my shoulder blades for some reason. I'm going to do Get Ripped this morning and I'll be taking it easy on those parts. I think I will skip working out this evening. My body is feeling really tired and I can always tell when I need a little bit of a break. The Inventor is actually called American Inventor. It's on ABC on Thursdays. It just started last week. It's produced by American Idol so I knew it would be good. 4 judges meet people with so called inventions. If they are good, then they move on to the next round, kind of like American Idol. Glad you've been getting some great workouts in. ~~

Guest guest
This evening I really didn't feel like doing cardio at all. In fact, I wanted to do yoga, but I'm in a rut with my routine and just HAD to do cardio. I went with CTX Kickbox cardio only and skipped the arm drills and went straight to CTX 10-10-10 kickbox segment. Then done Power Circuit planks and abs. I wanted more of a stretch then what those workouts provide so I already had The Firm Super Charged Sculpt in ready for tomorrow so I done the bonus stretch. If I'm focusing on stretching, that's what I want. I didn't get any really good stretches with this one. All of that was 52 minutes and I burned 309 calories. Have a nice night everyone! ~~
