Guest guest
good morning all, no no not finished with my workout day yet this is just the yoga i would like to review. this is the dvd that came with the gloves NOT the other yoga burn you see on its own. this is one is done with the gloves for upper body focus and it is rodney leading a female yogini through the postures. he states in this workout that the purpose of this is to focus on the posture and help build the upper body so you continuosly have good posture. its a very very slow yoga workout. ie. you move in and out of pose very slowly for the purpose of gaining control of the muscles worked. the gloves have a sticky mat type material on the palms so that helped with holding some poses like downward dog. i might use these without weights for other yoga workouts but these gloves help me grip more. he doesn't start with a big warmup if any at all but it started with some baby arm circle while moving into staff/cobblers poses.while the focus is to move the arms slowly(and i did feel it in the back shoulders/mid back area)he also does your obvious yoga moves triangle/warrior/cobra in a slow controled movement. the music was soft and couldn't catch to much what it was like, the set was a very simple yet a nice set. it was a bit dark but the floor looked like sand with little prop rocks around. rodney and his yogini practice on a wooden platform with darkened japanese style window things in the background. this and the other yoga workout have been getting to much slack between amazon and collage for being boring, slow, mistitled and a bad workout. WAH WAH WAH WAH is what i say to these ppl. you are suppose to feel a bit of a burn and if you don't you are not doing it right. i usually don't do slower yoga videos but this is makes me rethink it. simple moves challenged me as i tried to gain control so i would keep with 10 counts. WELL HELLO i found the purpose of the video and it wasn't like rodney didn't tell you in the beginner. man i hate when ppl who haven't tried other types of yoga whine when they don't like a certain practice and then rip all over it with bad reviews. this is a great useful workout, much better then iron yoga IMO. i am going to spend the $10 on amazon and get the other yoga burn sometime next month, when hopefully i will be able to get his NEW advanced yoga set as well. well sorry for getting worked up there but when watching the preview i found it to be great and now i have the kit i am more convinced that i have been missing out on it. so if slower yoga is your thing you might like this and it was pretty cheap at target plus i got $3 off for a coupon on the box :-) ,so it came about to $22. pretty good considering i plan on using these gloves ALOT for other workouts. have a great day will check back later with my other sunday workout kassia - Helps protect you from nasty viruses.
