Guest guest
Hi ! Meant to welcome you yesterday but I got caught up in stuff! Anyway, welcome!!! My DH is a reporter/broadcaster and his hours in his current job can be erratic -- it does make it hard to get into a pattern. I'm not sure what to suggest other than to just keep plugging along. On your days off definately get a workout in - so that would be twice a week (I hope! :>) Then just try your best for two more days a week. Maybe you could try doing a lighter workout after you eat dinner on days when you get home late. I personally workout in the morning. I telecommute part time and work in an office part time and keep up w/ my 2 1/2 year old daughter the rest of the time. I find that even though mornings are not my " prime " time, it is at least a time when I know I can get something done (unless my daughter wakes up ridiculously early! LOL!) Before she was born I was an evening exerciser, and fit it in after work, but DH's hours were different then, too - he often wasn't home until after 9:00 p.m., so I always had plenty of time after work to get my workout in before he got home. And, you've gotten some great yoga recommendations already. I'd add Tari Rose's Hard Body Yoga to the suggestions you've already received - it is kind of like strength training and yoga combined. You may also want to check out some of Voight's yoga and yoga-fusion type workouts. Also Iron Yoga or Rodney Yee's Yog Burn may be up your alley as more athletic style! Anyway, welcome!
