Guest guest
today i did keli roberts 'ultimate step' workout, which, including an abs section and relaxation (in lieu of stretching) at the end, lasted for 60 mins. i recommend this workout for all intermediates. there are a few propulsion moves (but certainly not many if i could do them all! LOL) but the workout is mainly low impact. with the comfortable BPM and basic steps, keli uses alot of arm movements/patterns to increase the intensity and recommends increasing the step height if you like. this is a good one for those of us who like to put in a step workout and actually DO IT instead of tripping, standing there saying 'huh?' or repeatedly rewinding. with keli are a couple of the background exercisers from her step tape with cher... and nancy from cathy smith's workouts is there too... along with a couple of guys. after that i did 'crunch: candlelight yoga' with sara ivanhoe. i had meant to do a different crunch yoga workout but grabbed this one by mistake. this workout is best done at night as it is very relaxing, more than anything else. the poses/stretches are really basic and i found my attention wandering during the 40 minute session. there is an excellent upper back/shoulder stretch in this one though that i really like (where you intertwine your arms). this is a good beginner yoga workout or for a sick day. :*carolyn.
