Guest guest Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 good afternoon all, got this dvd in a trade on VF. its says its 2-20 min. programs which it can be or it can be a complete 40 min. session since it just jumps right into the second program. the main menu you can choose between 4 chapters that splits each workout into 2 chapters. its lead by a woman named jean and in each of the workouts she has a yoga teacher with her. the first segment there is male and the second a female but neither of them talk just do the workout. there is the ability to play music only but then i wouldn't get the cues for moves. jean shows some modifcations but not many modfications are mentioned. its kind of like bryan kest wieght loss workout in that you flow through poses doing some reps then holds a pose to "create heat". there isn't much in the way of sun salutations but plenty of foward bends,lunges, and warriors. its a nice change of pace and quick practices make it easy to fit into any day. i just wished they toned jean's voice down a bit. she talks a bit to loud and her voice is slighty irritating. i somehow blocked it out so it didn't bother me as much but i to some it might be a total distraction.she does cue breathe and movement well but doesn't always remind you to keep form. so even though its labeled for beginners and intermediates be sure you have some prior knowledge to proper alignment for movements before partaking in this. just a pre-caution so you don't overdo it and cause a strain. but for those with some knowledge it can be a quick refreshing workout. i could rate this a good b- b/c she needs to tone her annoying voice down and discuss some proper alignment to get the most out of the work without injury. kassia Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with .
