Guest guest
I think you are correct. I used to have Volume 5 and I traded it like a dummy! It really worked the bottom half nicely. Guest guest
I see in my new Collage Video catalogue her new workouts are supposed to come out at the end of March. kathy -------------- Original message -------------- From: fitgrl222@... Hi, This morning I done Ripped with Jari Love. This is the second time I've done this workout and I have to say I like it even better. I went heavier then last time and got an even better workout. I have to admit I skipped the abs section and next time I will probably skip the outer and inner thigh sections too. I don't get anything out of any of those, their just not long enough. I tried to go as heavy as I could and I was able to go 30lb on the chest presses and used a 20 for the pullovers but I had to keep stopping because my arms were burning so bad. All those reps from the chest really gets my arms tired. I could've used a lighter weight and would've been able to complete the pullovers without stopping, I love the burn. lol On the deadlifts I went with 45lbs but dropped half way through. I upped my weights on the shoulder work too from 5's to 7's. This is a great endurance workout!! ~~I hope you all have good days today~~**
Guest guest
Did you feel energetic today? Although I don't like the getting up early part, I do like the energy and feeling of accomplishment a morning workout gives me. I've been up early for 2 1/2 years now, I guess it is just a habit. Even when I don't plan to, I wake up around the same time as my workout - so it is hard to sleep in now - especially with my daughter who has turned into a rooster..... Guest guest
Actually, yes, I feel more energetic and it's obvious to the people at work, too, who demanded to know what I'd had for breakfast. LOL Oops. I don't get up much earlier than usual -- 7 instead of 7:30 -- but instead of just sitting around drinking coffee and reading the paper, I squeeze in a half hour or so of exercise and THEN drink coffee and read the paper. I don't have to be at work till 9 most mornings and it's only about a 5-minute drive, so I figured I could learn to get my behind moving first thing. I'm only two days in so I can't promise I'll stick with it <g>, but it helps that Hubby says, "I thought you were going to exercise" if I show signs of not getting after it and that His Highness the Basset King hears the alarm and comes running in to roust Mommy out of bed. Guest guest
Hi, This morning I tried one of my new workouts, Aerobic Body Shaping. I didn't think I'd like this one as well as I did, but I really like it a lot. It's very easy to go heavy and get a good workout. I thought the abs were a little different meaning that she straightens out her legs, I could feel that a lot more. The cardio sections didn't get my HR up much, but they were fun. I don't have a transformer, but my high step worked just fine. I burned 345 calories and was in the zone 43 minutes out of the 55 minutes so I'd say that's pretty good. This one is a keeper. Wearing your weighted gloves while doing ab exercises It takes it up another notch. You know I thought of that this evening while doing the abs in Fit To Kick. I might have to try that. Thanks for the tip!!
