Guest guest Posted January 26, 2006 Report Share Posted January 26, 2006 Hi Everyone, I am totally new to making natural perfumery, but have been drawn to it as I can't tolerate any synthetic scents and could never find natural perfumes to buy (in Australia). I have been reading some of the old posts (only up to 1000- another 7000 to go!) and have found them fascinating. I am curious as to whether anyone has ever blended with natural fruit essences (other than citrus), as I came across a site selling natural and organic fruit essences www.naturesflavors.com Has any one had experiences with anything like this and how have they found using them. Also- does anyone from Australia know where I can get my hands on some alcohol for perfume purposes? Looking forward to learning more! Some may be misrepresented. Some tried fruit flavor essences in the past and found they don't blend well. The website you visited seems interesting. Why not write them for us and report back? The fragrance oils they sell say " aroma compounds " -- that may be synthetics, maybe not. Seems they have stuff for oil or alcohol-based blends.
