Guest guest
Does anyone have good suggestions on exercises to help recover from the flu? My problem is extreme tiredness and muscle weakness (I can’t even pick up my son at all right now – he’s 6) I’ve been just doing normal mom activities like biking kids places, running, walking up and down stairs to do laundry, basic household chores and child care, etc etc. It has been a week since I got good enough to get out of bed, but recovery is slow going. And I’m so tired. Its 3:30pm now and I’m ready for bed and I haven’t even done the basic chores for today. Any suggestions are great. I was thinking starting with 15 minutes of yoga or Pilates and adding beginner aerobics as I felt a bit stronger, but then was thinking the beginner aerobics might help more than the yoga/Pilates. I’m really too tired to think about it. BTW my dad is having the same problem getting over his flu but worse (he is in another country so we didn’t share the flu unless you can get it via email or telephone now) I wish I could be there to make sure he is recovering well, but it doesn’t sound good.
