Seeking Software for Functional Behavior Analysis

Hi all

I am looking for software for functional behavior analysis. The

software that I am looking for should have the following

characteristics:

1) simple enough to allow parents, caregivers, and educators to enter

data into the computer on severe behavior events including antecedents,

behaviors and consequences

2) can perform simple preliminary analyses of the data which can

provide initial hypotheses as to the function of the behavior

, I would recommend contacting Dr. Mulick to see if he knows of this kind of software, or if he is interested in developing it. He is very computer savvy and very savvy behaviorally also...Sally

another place to check would be with Dr.Hammer or Dr.Aman at Ohio State University's Nisonger Center. Both are researchers who have worked on autism and behavior research and I believe both have developed behavior rating forms in the past....Sally(614)292-9844 is the general clinic number there

Well, apparently you don't know anyone whose child has been expelled from school (or is in jail)for behaviors. I know of a child who is 13) who is up on a felony assault charge for knocking the glasses off the vice principal of his school. If someone had taken the time to help with behavior(which includes documenting it so you can figure out why it is happening)then done a behavior plan on the poor kid, he might never have ended up in juvenile detention crying all day long.
