Winsor Pilates

I used to do these regularly for about 6 months. It was my

first introduction to Pilates and I found the information in them to be

interesting and informative. I got bored with them though. Right now I prefer

Pilates work with a twist (like the standing exercises or using the ball or

Pilates mixed in with other stuff) I’m sure I will go back to them

sometimes. I consider them a very good introduction to Pilates matwork and

modifications that can be done if you aren’t as strong or have a weak

neck. And I still consider them a good workout I just want more of a fun factor

in my workouts.

Thanks, Judy! I was also focusing on the breathing and workout enough to not be so irritated by her that I needed to shut off the DVD! That's something, by the way I need to work more on, focusing on the breathing. I was mostly trying to just learn the moves and only seemed to breathe the way she instructs when she reminded me to. I know I shouldn't ask this, but what is the Pink Pilates?

Well thanks for great review.. I love the Mari workouts but I can easily tune her out because I concentrate so much on breathing and the workout.. tempted by her new one but will wait for bit as I have a kettlebell addiction right now.. but I do the Pink Pilates about once month :)judy in Dc

Great review!  Mari Winsor KICKS ASS!  Wait til you do her butt and thigh one. OMG my lower half is on FIRE when I do that one!  I really like her stability ball workout too.  True, she's a little subdued and not " exciting " or anything, but the fact she kicks my butt so well without any equipment wins her a lot of respect from me!

ITA with laura the buns and thigh one is a toughie! i traded it way back when but now that i am bringing more pilates/barre back in the my collection i kind of which i didn't do that.
