In the name of traditional medicine

Hello All,

Most of you will no doubt be aware of the large numbers of tigers

" disappearing " from national parks in india - bound in the main to end up in

Traditional Chinese Medicine preparations.

As some of you may know, I am an activist against endangered species,

usually endangered aromatic plant species, but I was aghast to realise the

scale of the problem and how tiger numbers are dwindling fast in the name of

traditional medicine.

For the past six months I have been researching the issue and have

co-written an article which I have just put up on www.cropwatch.org

I have also decided to make a Declaration form, which is also on the

Cropwatch website for anyone else aghast at this scandal who wishes to

publically declare that they are committed to not selling, buying or using

TCM medications with tiger parts and are against those who do.

I hope that some of you will take a look and / or offer any ideas of

support.

Feel free to send this email to any interested parties.

Many Thanks,

Kendra

ps also just up is a review of the SCCP inventory of Ingredients employed in

Cosmetic Products Section II: Perfume and Aromatic Materials " which is so

full of mistakes it is almost unbelievable!
