Guest guest
Sounds good, I hope I will not become very proficient at push-ups or burpees!! Tomorrow I'm going out for pizza and ice cream - actually it was a planned treat for a co-worker's birthday - it just happened to fall on the last day before the challenge. I figure that will be a good send-off for me --- btw, the ice cream I bought on Friday remained untouched all weekend. How did I manage that?! take care, Donna --- Carolyn or Visser <pvisser@...> wrote: > > so, right now there are 4 of us in the junk food > challenge for march: > donna, becky, debra and me. > if any of us break down and eat junk food on a day > that is not > designated as 'treat day', then we will be required > to pick an > exercise from the list. it will be ok if you break > the reps up over > the day so that you can get them all done. but > please remember that > the exercise needs to be challenging in order to > make us pay for our > mistakes! Guest guest
Good job Donna!!! I am happy to report that I got my water in yesterday (barely), and after supper I worked out even though I was tired from going out the night before (first time in like 2 years)... After working out I was hungry and had a banana, and that was it! Darcy who had great workouts last night but just had a crappy one to AL12... :(On 2/27/06, Donna M-P < donna112520@...> wrote:Sounds good, I hope I will not become very proficient at push-ups or burpees!! Guest guest
Yay! take it easy on yourself, you have a sick little one so be forgiving to yourself if you can't get as much done - it is hard when they're sick and need you so much. I think I did well with water yesterday.....hmmm... Today I should make it as I've had over 20 oz already and we're only " required " to make it to 40! LOL! LOL, me neither!! > Tomorrow I'm going out for > pizza and ice cream oh good! i kind of did the same thing... i went to wendys for lunch which, honestly, is something that i rarely do anyway, but i wanted to give the last day of february a good send-off too! and today is 'pancake day' (im not catholic but still celebrate pancake day with them so it is pancakes with syrup and bacon for supper! i only eat that once a year and im happy that it landed on the day before the challenge...LOL. its funny how Lent and our no-junk challenge coincide. :*carolyn. Guest guest
It is funny how our challenge coincided w/ Lent! I'm not Catholic either, but it works well that others are sacrificing now, too. The bummer w/ me right now is I feel that I'm coming down with something. I've been feeling flu like symptoms on and off since Sunday. Yikes! This is about the time I got sick last year. Maybe I should make tomorrow a rest day.....but as long as I'm good w/ the food I'll be okay!
