I agree 100%. When I got certified in Turbo Kick the presenter made a big point of saying that Turbo Kick was NOT a martial arts class, that it is an aerobics class designed to deliver a super cardio workout and calorie burn, NOT as a self defense class. They didn't want people leaving the cert with a sense of false bravado or thinking they could win a fight if attacked. If anything, your cardio capacity will be so high that you could hopefully just outrun your opponent *L*Jab, retreat and run
