Guest guest
hi donna, woohoo rooting for you on that new house. ours didn't go through b/c there is a fraud investigation on the credit. somebody used dh's social and name to get their electric turned on and didn't pay the bill. so until all that is done we can't even get a cell phone. they won't even tell us who b/c i wanted to know if it was somebody we knew that had access to that info. it was just funny that only family and a few friends know dh is a jr. so that is why it makes me think of somebody we knew. he doesn't even fill anything out and put jr. on it so that made me really suspicious. for the computer thing whatever my mil did worked. she is pretty good with spywares and anit viruses. but it still freezes up b/c adelphia's security features just really stink.going to get dad over here one day and put some good programs in b/c he never has an issue unless its the internet service itself. but it was helped get us on the right track with spending. we managed to get $150 in a savings account in less then a month. i think we can keep it up IF he behaves too. LOL. its so easy to order online that it does get out of control for me. onto exercise i read two books to keep me fresh as we are really controlling the spending right now. i got them at the library one was shape training by robert kennedy(oxygen magazine editor) and the other was pilates method by romana(can never spell her name there). both really good stuff. the shape training was pretty much training for your body type as well as some other great chapters on nutrition and types of aerobics. great book if you can get it at the library. i copied up some notes for it and following the A-frame(pear shaped) routine by using their upper body routiens but using videos for lower body and some cardio as well as still running. working pretty good if i say so. just need to get eating habits in check(yeah what else is new LOL). yesterday i totally pigged out but it was my only truly bad day in a few weeks so i didn't sweat it. the pilates method one was how to do exercises using the varied pilates equipment out there. a great read but i think there could be more to it. like i believe there are a ton more exercises then what they put in the book. but it was great reference and copied some stuff out of there to try. also trying to get outside more since the weather has been getting better. instead of a bunch of candy in viola's easter basket i got her another jump rope, another frisbee, a kickball and bubbles. she is enjoying that so much she doesn't even care about the little bit of candy she did get. if it dries up later we are going to take the kickball and soccer ball down to the playground. just chasing the ball around really keeps us moving. well other then welcoming any new folks, that has been pretty much that has been going on here. got some catching up to do so i will check back in later with my workouts since sunday. have a great day kassia How low will we go? Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your DH, Kassia. Identity theft is scary. My W-2 got lost in the mail and it caused me to totally freak out. I read somewhere that most identity theft is perpetrated by someone you know - a friend or relative. That is great that you're using the library to freshen up your fitness routine. It definately helps and doesn't cost anything. I need to be more careful with spending, especially now with house buying. I didn't get any candy for , either. Just books and toys. We did bake chocolate chip cookies for the Easter Bunny and now she wants one for breakfast every morning. Oh well! Take care and hang in there, it is good to have you back!
