But I can do it experimentally and then restore the alcohol if that seems like the best bet. Thanks for the caution though. I'll let you know my impression of what happens. By the way, I love Israel. e >> >> e, >> I just had a thought...is there any way you could somehow >> soak or siphon the clear alcohol off of your blend?... >> If she does that, I'm afraid a lot of the essences she used will >> leave the > jojoba also, and the scent will be irrevocably altered. Hi Anya, I see you share Bella's idea of what may happen. Thanks to you also for this warning. > e, what. > were. you. thinking?! Girl! > > > Anya > Ahem. I won't say I won't do anything impulsively instinctual again, as I think there's a time for it (normally I'm very cautious, do experiments with tiny amounts first and keep careful records - though I find these aren't always as useful as I expect, as I continue to find that mixing larger amounts of a blend requires adjusting). But maybe I've learned that the time for it is not just before you are planning to give the finished product to a customer! And, of course, I've also learned something about mixing alcohol and fixed oils, even if I'm not sure what I've learned exactly, as it's gone OK in the past, though I've only tried it before in very small quantities. Above all, I appreciate that I could confess my blunder here and get the immediate feedback and support that I did. Thanks to all of you and to Kymeth, Dorothy, Bella and Anya. e
