Guest guest
good morning all, decided to give my stand alone yoga burn dvd a try. its a long slow practice using some reps of poses and some poses were held for a few seconds. but i find the title mis-leading. my core got a great workout but hardly burned for the whole 60mins, and i only felt it faintly in the legs. BUT its was a great practice, using the slow reps and movements made it impossible to let the mind wander so i was totally deep into the practice and total body connection. alot of folks gave this one bad reviews between collage and amazon b/c the title mis-lead them and they didn't like the music. while i did find the title misleading i still think its a great yoga practice, and more the music i didn't even really notice the soft tribal type beat until we were at savasana. the music was rather soft but the beat was with the rhythm of the workout. some things i didn't like was that when i went slower with some movements it seems he moved faster and when i moved a little bit fast he moved slower. he should have done some sort of instruction segment where he would count the movements down. while i was completely off with rodney, i still prefer to keep up with the yoga teacher. he doesn't go over form completely so to say its good for beginners might be an understatement. granted beginners with some prior knowledge could work with this workout. for the burn, i got much more of a burn with the other yoga burn dvd from the kit. but its a different kind of workout, if you keep an open mind about different yoga practices. don't expect a "burn" if you expierenced yogi for sure but you will benefit of the slower motions to really get deep into the mind-body connection. B- b/c i hate when titles mis-lead folks but its a recommended slow yoga practice. have a great day kassia Relax. virus scanning helps detect nasty viruses!
