I tried Cathe's basic step today and am so so happy to report that I did it on the first run-through! YAY! It was much easier than the first one I did (Low impact step), and she did do a couple of things in this one that I had already learned so that made it even more easier, of course :) I wore my 2lb gloves and did extra jumps and such when I could. But I still only burned 289 calories. I recommend the workout for someone who is a newbie to stepping (like myself). It is 30 minutes long and it flew by. I am thiking I may try Kari 's " Go " workout tomorrow if I feel up to it in the morning. I am so excited about getting the hang of it, and can't wait to try more :)

Where did you find your 2lb gloves? I could only find 1lb. I was thinking the other day that a little more weight would be nice now that I'm use to wearing the gloves.

I got my gloves off e-bay, however I just came across them, I don't think they are on there regularly.... Here is what they are:

Of course, let us know if you get some :) Once in awhile I will do a workout w/out them, and it feels soooo weird. LIke my arms go 150 MPH w/out even trying..LOL..
