Me!Me!Me! I've done pretty good at cleaning up my diet, in fact all

last week I passed by the bowl of hershey kisses in my office and not

once did my hand dip in for one. But I still have moments (like that

box of Godiva I just ate over a long weekend <g>) and speaking of

weekends, since they're not structured I tend to mindlessly eat. By

Sunday night I'm bloated and feel fat. And since my goal is to half

way to being down a whole size by the end of March, eating cleaner is

very important.

hi donna! well seeing as i cant workout (much), i really need to

clean up my diet!! i had a great day yesterday, but tonight i went

over my calorie limit so im a bit disappointed in myself.... again

::sigh:: i really need to stop creating these feelings of being mad

at myself. and the only way to stop that is to smarten up and eat

right... then i will feel proud instead. so, im all for an eating

challenge!!! im starting tomorrow so it will be an even 2 weeks

until the 28th.

I'm glad you're in Debra. I sometimes have more

control than others. I tend to do better at work,

also. And, I have been there w/ that yicky Sunday

evening overstuffed feeling!

Did we want to start this week? If so, yesterday was a 50/50 day. I

ate good considering I was home but then I had too many Lindt

chocolate truffles. Way too many.

Today I stood home also from work, not feeling that great, and I did

much better. For breakfast I had yogurt & grapenuts, an orange for a

snack, I grilled vegetables and topped with cheese and put on a whole

grain roll. Afternoon snack was a SB bar and I had 3 chocolate

truffles. DInner is going to be spaghetti & meatballs and two slices

of garlic cheese bread. Oh, I just had some sliced up canataloup.

What was important was that I kept to my scheduled eating and that I

didn't dive into the bag of pretzels or box of cookies or eat more

truffles. Hmm, I did do pretty good today.

Sounds quite successful to me! Lately, I've been in a kool whip kick. Fat free kool whip on pudding....on yogurt (tried that tonight -interesting), chocolate teddy grahms dipped in it..or jello w/ oranges w/ kool whip on top. LOL... Not high in calories or fat, but not good to be going through a container of kool whip every few days either!

well, day #1 of this challenge didnt go as planned for me.... i

always start out good and end up blowing it at night!

some cookies and baked lays chips got the best of me today :(

on the positive side, i did eat breakfast today, ate 2 fruits and a

serving of vegetables and managed to fill out my food journal, with

calorie counts, up until i lost control this evening. so there is

alot of room for improvement and tomorrow brings another opportunity

to succeed.

Love your attitude Carolyn! I just had a very small piece of FUDGE. I bought dh some cheap fudge from wal-mart for part of his valentine's gifts. Okay, I've been with him for over ten years and I found out today he doesn't like fudge. Gee, I wonder who will eat it...ugh..

LOL! my dh had time after work today so he made an effort and

bought me a card and a small heart shaped box of chocolates! OMG i

almost fell off of my chair, it was a surprise. i was going to give

him a chocolate rose, but i figured he wouldnt eat it (he rarely eats

sweets) so instead, i gave the rose to my 7 year old son to give to

his 'girlfriend' at school...lol

he said that she ate it during recess :)

That is sweet Carolyn! Your DH must be a sweetie! That is cute about giving the rose to your son. I wonder if he will give it to his gf?

Yes, it does. I ate good up until we went out to eat yesterday... plus I had to get into DH Birthday cake. OMG once I start on that stuff I can't stop. I just want to keep eating it until the whole thing is gone, it's terrible.

So do you count your calories for the day? I've been doing that. I've been using sparkpeople.com the only problem I have with that is when I cook suppers like round step with my homemade gravy, that isn't listed so I don't know how to figure that one up. Anyway, when I screw up my calories, I just quit counting them.
