I have both a $180 Foodsaver Vacuum and a Pump N' Seal. I use the

Pump N' Seal much more frequently. You can use it on almost any jar,

but I keep a Ball jar attachment on the Pump N' Seal and use it on

Ball Jars. It takes less than 10 seconds to vacuum any size jar. I

once broke the plastic end off the pump handle. I emailed the company

and they suggested that I use Gorilla Glue to put it back on and that

worked perfectly. But they didn't tell me that they were also sending

me an new assembly for free, which arrived two days later. The Pump

N' Seal and the company are great.
