growing avo's from pit (Adrienne)

Avocados take a *really* long time. I've done two this past year, and one

took about two months and the other about three and a half, before showing

any signs of activity. Just keep changing the water! (prop up the seed

over a glass of water by putting three or four toothpicks into the side of

it. rest toothpicks on rim of glass. have water come up at least third way

up seed.)

One of the two didn't make it after it sprouted, the other I started in may

last year, is only about a foot tall now.

Avo's are a true test of patience!
