Guest guest Posted April 7, 2003 Report Share Posted April 7, 2003 My son burps to get attention from the other kids. In the classroom it is ignored and he stops it. Do you have any suggestions to get him to stop this behavior when around strangers. He loves it when the kids respond to the burping. He gulps air and does it intentionally!! He is eight and mild to moderately autistic. He is engaging and affectionate. He also digs in his nose and has pulled his pants down to show his behind!!
