This is what I'm trying to determine also, but my relentless questioning is only annoying people. Remember folks, I created this particular mailing list specifically to be a place for tough, unmoderated, uncensored discussions and debates. I don't like the fact that I sometimes make people angry, but I consider the pursuit of scientific truth to be a higher priority and that alone is the purpose of this mailing list. The glutamine issue is a case in point. Lord knows I made some enemies on that one, and I may never be able to repair those relationships, and that makes me sad. However at the same time I'm confident that I also kept a few people from becoming senile before their time. A representative of the Life Extension Foundation has now agreed that a caution for older people is warranted in the promotional literature for glutamine. If I kept a few people out of nursing homes then I consider my unpopularity to be a small price to pay. -gts
