Guest guest
Okay I have a challenge for all you people that are good at blending, my weakest area, in fact I think I'm quite pathetic to tell the truth. Anyway one of my friend's son's loves this scent by Lush, appears they have discontinued it. He tells her it also lingers on his skin, this is where my problems start, even in a handmill I find that most EO don't linger on the skin for long, in Melt and Pour soap yes but not Cold Process soap. I'm posting the ingredients list, also their description of the scent, any ideas on a blend…. I don't know what perfume they used. The name of the soap is " Middle Earth Turns To Rock " . Ingredients: Rhassoul Mud Slurry, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Propylene Glycol, Pumice Powder, Kaolin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Stearate, Pefume, Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Vetivert Oil (Vetivera zizanoides), Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA. It has an earthy, spicy scent of an Arabian soukh;

Learn the simple Hot Process method for soaps and you will love your eo's in them. My sister and I soap all blend's with eo's by this method. Beautiful scent and easy to do. If you want to learn the method, email me and I will explain it to you. I love to make the body oils and lotions with eo's and yes they last all day and then some. I use Jeanne Rose method for mixing eo's in oils or lotions. Make your blend, let it sit for a time, then blend and let it meld into the oils or lotion. Don't hurry! I love it when late in the day I am at KFC to grab some supper and the little guy at the counter stops and says, I love the scent you have on is that XXX? Yes, it is the lotion I used early in the morning. Getting too long winded here but the blend might have some sandalwood in there and ylang. The scent that lasts for him is the patchouli and vetivert. Jane http//www.adobesoapworks.com
