Guest guest
, send you question the Sprout Man at www.sproutman.com He is a big wheat grass eater and even has book called, " Wheatgrass, Nature's Finest Medicine " . You might find it in your local library. But he's and his staff are good about answering questions. ew Why does eating wheat sprouts affect my thyroid area? Date: Mon, 29 Sep 2008 15:30:58 -0700 (PDT) I eat the whole sprout: roots, seed and grass. I eat it when the grass is just a green bulge and seed is liquified inside. My neck feels full in the thyroid area, I especially feel it when I look down. I never felt this before and I am in my 30's. What is the wheatgrass doing? Overstimulating my lymphatic system or understimulating it? I have been told that barley stimulate the lymph system. Is it the same in wheat. I also feel my skin holds more moisture. I have tried seaweed for a little relief in my neck with the tightness swelling issue. However, I don't want to rely on seaweed. Can you overdo wheatgrass? Would it be something that is reserved for particular times? I will look forward to your response. Sunshine makes the flowers dance. Anon. -- Be Yourself @ mail.com! Guest guest
I have always heard to cut wheat grass, not to consume seed and all. I am not sure if it has anything to do with your condition. I would recommend you have it checked by an MD. Guest guest
I have been eating sprouted wheat seed & all for 3 months now & have had no adverse effects so far. I agree with Thia, please consult an MD, or GP as we call them in Australia. Guest guest
Are you sure the wheat berries you are sprouting are chemical free? Is it a normal seed which is used for agriculture purpose for a crop ? In that case the seeds are preserved against insects by poisonous chemicals. The roots and seeds of such sprouted berries will be very toxic and may cause all the troubles. Gopal > > > I eat the whole sprout: roots, seed and grass. Guest guest
Yikes!!! If what you described was happening to me then: Sounds like you may be experiencing an accumulative negative reaction. First things first. I would stop the wheat. NOW. Not just wheat sprouts but ALL wheat. Then I would wait and see if I return to 'normal' When I return to 'normal' then at some later time I would once again begin wheat and see what happened. The body can handle only so much of one thing. Too much of anything beyond the individuals body ability to process produces a sensitivity and will effect the energy of your body. Just because so and so can eat certain sprouts morning noon and night for years does not mean my body can. LISTEN, your body is TALKING to you. If it is not the wheat, the sprouts, or something within them such as 'things' sprayed or 'fed' to them, and indeed something entirely different the symptoms will not go away. Would I feel better if I went to see a doctor right away to rule out thyroid imbalance or blockage in my lymph nodes or something else or would I feel better if I waited to see a doctor. Let your intution be your guide. Be careful however in what you eat instead of wheat. For you do not want to exchange one aggravator for another. Alot of people have difficulty with their 5th Chakra. The power of speech. They hold their tongue when they could speak and they speak when they could hold their tongue. Some people speak and are not listened to. I ask myself what else is going on within your life? The solution is near, it is just a matter of time until you find the answer. Hope this helps, P.S. Where there no other changes in your diet or your life in the three months before the symptoms began? What about other foods? Why do you think it is the wheat sprouts causing the symptoms? The reason I say three months is because in my own body if I suffer an emotional upset or trauma of some kind I used to see physical illness or disease within three months. Even something like having a new dental filling could mess me up at one time. Thankfully, not so much now as I am learning to create better feeling thoughts about life experiences. > > I eat the whole sprout: roots, seed and grass. Guest guest
A very close friend told me, if she had gone straight to the see a Doctor when she noticed a change in her bowl habits, she would not be wearing a Stoma Pouch today. Guest guest
People with Candida, Leaky gut, fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue cannot eat wheatgrass or chlorella. I dod not remember why, but I remember the thyroid being involved. Do you have Candida or any other the other conditions? Tracey Re: Why does eating wheat sprouts affect my thyroid area? Yikes!!!
