I have been sprouting almonds in recent weeks when, according to knowledgable people at the Takoma Co-op and MOM's, the supply in their bins was processed AFTER the 9/30 deadline for mandatory pasteurization. The sprouted almonds I ate today were delicioius, as good as ever. Do you have any explanation? What has been your experience?
