BLENDING ESSENTIAL OILS FOR HEALTH AND BEAUTY.

on February 25-27, 2005. This class has something for everybody, even

those who consider themselves an expert at Blending. The class starts

at 6:30 pm on Feb. 25 and goes from 9-4 on Saturday and Sunday.

This class is the best foundation for blending scents for natural skin

care and as a preliminary to the Natural Perfumery class coming up

in March and for all your special projects. The workshop is an

important step to any one interested in blending essential oils

for therapeutics or perfume as well as a boost for those enrolled

in the ASC course. It will help give inspiration and give direction for

those deciding where to go with their aromatherapy studies.

The workshop is designed to combine the academic and scientific

with the magically subjective aspects of aromatherapy. All in all

it will show that there is both art, craft and science to those

interested in Aromatherapy. Both classes are in the home of 1000

Aromatic Wonders, the home of Jeanne Rose in San Francisco.

PERFUME CLASS ADVERTISEMENT

My name is Jeanne Rose and I have been teaching herbal

therapy and aromatherapy for over 30 years, since, 1968;

and I am teaching a class in " Natural Perfumery " in my

home of 1000 Aromatic Wonders in March 11-13, 2005.

This will be a 15-hour Intensive class that follows the

" Blending Class for Professionals " and you can earn you 15 CE

through NCBTMB. The course will introduce you 45 essential oils,

and 45 more concretes,waxes, CO2 extracts, 8 different types

of beeswax and many absolutes. More importantly, it

will give you the `foundation' to perfumery that many

students simply do not have. The three levels of the

Vocabulary of Odors will be presented to allow you more

discrimination when you describe odors. I will go over the

basics of the Vocabulary of Odor as well as the Perfumers

Guide to 28. We will learn much that has not been taught before.

Moreover, you can look at the ancient and modern books

that I have collected over the last 35 years and smell

many of my antique library oils. We will complete two solid

perfumes and two liquid perfumes plus others to take home.
