Guest guest
I'd say vanilla and some spices, to bring in the smell of baked goods, and a touch of chamomile, for that sweet hint of apples. Something simple and homelike. My favorite blend for feeling comforted is lime and vanilla. It smells like an ice cream cone, and it makes me feel happy. Guest guest
I choose Neroli oil, Alba rose otto, Jasmine sambac absolute, and Pink Lotus hydrodistilled essential oil blended together in almond oil or jojoba oil. Apply whenever you feel like it....Sniff throughout the day also. Sniffing vetiver is also good. If you want add some grounding and centering oil to this blend will also help. Cedar, vetiver, etc. JoAnne Bassett Fresh and alive essential oils bought direct from the source. Retail, wholesale, and bulk. In the meantime, however, when I am feeling low, I usually aim not for comfort per se, but for cheer. For me, this is usually accomplished by citrus oils. I love their bright, optimistic natures. Yuzu with a little mandarin would be lovely, lime and blood orange also cheer me up. For comfort or calming, rosewood is often my choice, with rose and sandalwood...or with jasmine and sandalwood. That combo always makes me feel serene. Eva
