Guest guest
We are looking to incorporate optifast for our two week liquid diet prior to surgery. Right now we have our own liqud diet, that consists of slimfast optima, myoplex.... I was concerned with the cost of Optifast for the patients. What we have in place now is pretty inexpensive, I am just concerned people will not want to pay for the Optifast. Also, those who do the optifast plan prior to surgery, how many calories is it, can you eat anything on it? I have to present some materials to my surgeon on Friday so any information would be helpful. Thanks! Kim Mahoney RD, LDN
