Guest guest
I have had reports recently of some clients with lap band or GBP who are sucking on chips or hot Cheetos to get the flavor, then spitting out the chips or Cheetos. So how many calories do you think they are getting from that outer flavor portion? Any ideas? I know the longer they leave the item in their mouth, the more calories they will get, since the CHO will begin to digest, but how many calories do you think there are on the outside portion? I know it's sort of disordered eating, and that's another issue, and of course, the more someone does this the more "dangerous" it can be because they are still connecting with these types of foods, but for now, if anyone has any ideas, guesses, etc. about the calories, I would love to hear about it! Thanks in advance! , MS, RD, LDN Memphis, TN
