We use Isopure. It has 40g of protein per 20 oz. We recommend pts drink 1 1/2 bottles during the clear liquid phase (to = 60g/day).

I am an RD at a small community hospital which is planning on starting a surgical wt loss program in the fall. Have any of you used "Juven" made by Ross Labs as their clear liquid post op supplement? If so,what advantages and disadvantages have you noticed with this formula? What other high protein, low CHO clear liquid supplements are routinely used in your centers with success? Thanks,Leslee Ortiz, RD

Thanks Ciara. Do you know who makes Isopure? Can it be mixed into hot broth? Is it neutral in taste?

Leslee I have only seen it at GNC. It is a liquid (almost like colored water) in a large bottle (?24oz). It seems to be popular and comes in a variety of flavors. Hi,

I think Isopure is made by Nature's Best (www.naturesbest.com)..... or at least you can get it through that web site. I've also seen it at GNC.

Hope that helps,

Beth
