I am in Southern California and appreciate your making this group available by teleconference. Unfortunately, I have clients already scheduled so will not be able to participate. I hope you will continue to offer your networking group meetings by teleconference. If so, and you have the schedule in advance so I can free up the appropriate time frame, I would very much appreciate being notified.

NorCal Bariatric Nutrition Networking Group -- Join us by teleconference

Please accept my apology for the cross-post.

The next meeting of the NorCal Bariatric Nutrition Networking Group will be on Thursday July 14th from 2:30-4:30 PST. Our topic will be "Support Groups -- The role of the RD." Please bring in your successful and not so successful ideas to share with the group. We are interested in hearing about your experiences as a group facilitator or as a presenter. We will also prepare a list of potential speakers for a variety of topics and post it to members. Feel free to bring other members of your support group team.

If you are not from Northern California but would like to join us via telephone, we will be offering a dial-in number for you to participate. This will be our first experience with teleconferencing the session and we do not have funds to cover the cost of the call. Each person or group will need to assume the cost of a long-distance call from his/her phone line. If you would like to participate, please send an e-mail to jeanne.blankenship@... by WEDNESDAY JULY 13 and you will be sent the dial-in code and information. Calling cards that offer 3-4 cent/minute calls are a great option if your institution does not allow long-distance charges.
