We got POUNDED by little bonnie...and in the last few days have had a lot of tornados (a lot for around here anyway) ( and three people were killed by them! Charlie should hit us later today but by the looks of it the storm will be pretty small once it hits us....but then again so was Bonnie and she really pounded us so who knows....we are ready though! How are you doing Helen? I'm beat! I have here again he got in Yesterday at 1am we got home around 2:30am then he woke me up at 8:30am ready to go....he went so much yesterday that he got VERY over tired and ended up sick all night...so i've still gotten like NO sleep...but Bri should wake up feeling much better! I'm dead though! Well, i better get maybe i can get some sleep while he is still asleeping! take care of yourself Helen Jessi H U R R I C A N E !!! Merry another friend had her sister live in Ponte Gordo, I e-mailed Merry today, no reply, but then, no electric. Such a terrible shame in that trailer park they were warned but my DIL in Daytona Beach says there is a mindset down there, so many hurricanes people laugh at the evacuate requests, Maybe now they will realise that to move is wise. my DIL just lost her fence and a big tree but is alright, no electric though. She is handicapped has only one leg thanks to a drunk long ago, so I was worried as she did not want to leave.yesterday. I'll be glad when the ones on here finally are able to answer us... I Know there are several of them that live in the path of Charlie... How have you been doing??? You've been quiet, so have figured you are ok and busy outside??? ] i'm alright... The surgery that they want to do does not gurantee me that it will fix the problem. it could make it worse than it is, so I have opted out at this time... I just need to stay in slow gear and I do pretty good... With the girls here all summer and no breaks at all gets tireing at times, but they know that when grama needs to sit down or lay down and rest that its a have too and they are real good at allowing me the time I need (usually ) ) I wouldn't have it any other way anyways ) I Love them dearly!!! Guest guest Posted August 14, 2004 Report Share Posted August 14, 2004 I am keeping busy too, I have a pretty garden, now the lovely nasturtiums are in full bllom, something new each month! I have one tomato plant, so far 5 tomatoes have gotten ripe ,there is a dozen more, they are the patio type and small ,the size of a golf ball so I like that ,don't get overwhelmed because 50 poinds are getting ripe all on the same day and they are far superior to the horrid hothouse things in the store!
