Guest guest
I have taken the ICA's Wellness Certification course from Chesnut. I'm compiling published research on various subjects. (One of my Medicare aged patients was told by her internist not to take Omega 3 Fatty Acids because he didn't know of any definitive research that it is beneficial. He's getting a package.) We used to get bugs from partially decayed meat, fish and in dirt on food. Now everything is disinfected and sterile. The bottom line on Probiotics is: 1. they don't colonize well in the colon; 2. they don't adhere to the colon wall well so the are excreted; 3. therefore, they need to be supplemented daily for life Anyone want to share research article citings to compile. I'll put it together and share with all you non-political, clinical oriented clinicians. E. Abrahamson, D.C.
