IIRC, the experience of being in those forests, breathing in the scented air, was natural perfumery of the first kind. He is also a natural incense proponent, so I will email you privately with contact information. I was just there for 10 days visiting a good friend and doing some business. It was hot and dry and the earth smelled just dusty to me. Not that great. Great sunsets... The highlight was one late afternoon there was lightning, thunder, and to my delight big rain drops. Yeah... Moving from Bellevue, WA 4 years ago I never would believe I would be saying that....Anyway it totally changed the air quality and the air became alive with the trees, plants, and a few flower smells. We took a walk along this ditch with water flowing and the earth smelled so rich and wonderful. Very odd to me the transformation. We walked by horses and those smells were pleasant. All of these smells were coming together. Prior to the rain about the only thing blowing in the wind was the cottonwood fluff from the trees. After the rain the fresh smell and all of the animal and earth notes mixing. Quite a lovely parfum. No in those 3 cities there weren't any sites to see for parfum. Some Native jewelry and the Georgia O Keefe museum in Santa Fe were nice. There is a labyrinth I walked in front of a Catholic church (cathedral)... Do you have friends there? Maybe they know of something....Santa Fe is artsy and the rest is pretty much horse country... Didn't go to any pine forests. Watch out for the mosquitos at night. They will eat you alive.......
