Guest guest
Hey thanks for the tip. That would be a good idea, and I've thought about doing something like that. The only problem is that I live in an upstairs apartment, and I actually know the people downstairs, and they say that they can hear it when I walk, so I can only imagine what they would hear if I was doing stuff like that!. confessions-cardio Hi...I'm a brandy new BFL'er. I also have weights and a bench at my house. I was going to walk for my cardio, but the weather's still pretty crappy here in Pennsylvania, USA. I bought a video at K-mart called Cardio-Salsa. I used to LOVE dancing when I was younger so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's a fast paced dance-exercise video that's about 40 minutes long. It's a lot of fun ...even though the first couple times I did it, I spent maybe 1/3 of the tape talking back to the instructor... " Nooooo.....I didn't get that! " . Anyway, I think once I get the steps down better it'd be REALLY fun to do to maybe Gloria Estefan's music (Conga). Just a suggestion and something that doesn't get boring like a treadmill... Guest guest
Hi Lorraine, I just got that cardio salsa tape at Target last week. I really loved it. And Yes! I was trying to play catch up in the beginning too!!! God I wanna move like that!!! It does kinda go in intervals a bit too...starts each piece slow and then cruises and then starts the next segment or dance slow and then picks up...so I agree, a kinda fun way to get in some good cardio. I tell you I sweat to that thing! I hear ya about the weather..I'm here in Jersey I guess not too far from you in PA. Well...let's dance then!!! Maybe we can meet in NY sometime and try out those moves we're learning on our tapes!! You should have seen my kids watching me do those dances!! But I told them watch out or else they were gonna do them with me(it was my almost 13 year old twin boys I said that to!!I told them if they could dance they'd get the girls!!! they think i'm crazy) Have a good one! Guest guest
Actually, there's not a lot of jumping or anything in it so it may not be that bad. It's more like fast paced grapevine steps and the like. Lorraine > Hey thanks for the tip. That would be a good idea, and I've thought about doing something like that.
