Guest guest
My Mother is going away to Fiji in a few months, and she feels really conscious about her tummy. I've told her that she should *not* be doing sit-ups (old school) for obvious reasons, but what do I tell her instead? I'd really like to get her started on something around the house that will assist with fat-loss, since she can't spot reduce her tummy. Can anyone suggest anything? I was thinking maybe something with cans of food for weights..??

Guest guest
because it would be too easy to do herself a back injury. crunches yes, but not sit-ups. but also because you can't spot reduce. and if she's only going to do a few exercises, then maybe she'd be better off working her big muscles like legs, to hopefully burn more fat. > In a message dated 2/21/2004 10:08:55 PM Eastern Standard Time, > no_reply writes: > > > I've told her that she should > > *not* be doing sit-ups (old school) for obvious reasons > > Why shouldn't she be doing sit ups? > > > > >
