Consider the source. AST is a supplement company encouraging people to drink

their brand of whey protein every morning. They even provided links directly to

the shopping cart! Also consider the audience. Bodybuilders freak out and die

over anything that might be catabolic. Competitive bodybuilders and overweight

women don't necessarily share the same physiology or goals.

It's mainly a matter of doing what works for you personally. If you're getting

great results doing cardio on an empty stomach and waiting an hour afterward,

keep doing it. If you're dizzy and starving and your workouts are suffering, eat

something first.

Here is a completely opposite view to Bills. I have been told that

cardio on an empty stomach IS good for you if you're trying to lose

fat, but very bad for you if you already have a low body fat. The

author of this article seems to think it's just evil!
