isn't it a beautiful book! I have to admit I " m a little disappointed

with mine due to all the American-only brand names listed (still

trying to figure out alternatives), but all in all it's a great book.

It is a beautiful book!! I love seeing the finished product next to

the recipe. I wish he had made everything 1 portion. Also don't like

the term midmeals. I feel all meals are equal.

I'll explain the brand names in another post later in the week.

That's a good point to look at. Personally I try (not always

successfully <G>) to stick to the original list in the book. I'm a

little fanatical too in that I try not to eat more than 1 serving of

WW bread/pasta 3 times a week because for ME I do not seem to do as

well. But during PMS week, I give myself more leeway.

I guess what I'm saying is that it is a personal decision. The better

choices you can make, the more progress you will see.

Bill also uses string cheese in the EFL book but in BFL says cheese

is not a great source of protein.

I would use the recipes with food in question, sparingly and not on a

daily basis myself.

I have read what he has said, but I am wanting to hear some first hand

accounts form people who have had results with eating this way. My husband is

not

changing the way he eats. He goes strictly by the BFL book. His point is that

Bill Philips started eating this way after he lost the weight. Has anyone

out there had good results with eating the way described in the book?

Thank you,
