Sooooo with all this said and done..... how does one ever get these

mind games or mind baggage out of the way???? once you do lose all

the weight you want to lose.... what good does it do to lose it if

you still feel like you are obese or fat??/ i ahve a hard enough time

trying to fight these mind games my brai tries to toss at me when i

might lose 10lbs... or eat right or do a good workout... when does

this battle end???

gypsi ( who has a long way to go.. just wanting to file this away for

future reference..)

it's funny you say that, because I have always thought of myself as

a hot mamma, no matter what my size. I am surprised when I see

photos of myself looking fat, because that's not how I feel. So I

guess I have it in reverse. Having said that, it always scares me

when my legs get smaller. Something inside me wonders if those

little legs (which really aren't little) will support my weight, and

I feel more vulnerable, as if someone could hurt me easier when I'm

smaller. Weird old things our minds.

I have lost 75 lbs in last year and I still battle with the feeling I am

still fat, I am at 151.5 now and my goal wgt. is 125. When I get this feeling,

what I do is look at my before and after pictures, and the new clothes I have

and

say to myself look how far I have gotten and how great I look, and think of

all the compliments I get, I am told this feeling will come and go for a long

time, but you know there will be a day when it will never be there again.

Hang in there, you are doing good, there is a lot of support in here.

You know what I have always called that ??? Fat Brain. We just

think we are fat even when we aren't. Like I said in my post the

other day, I wish I were as fat as I USED to be.....(of course I

would kill to be 150 again and I will be) But looking back now I

can't believe I thought I was fat THEN!

Make that fit body beat up that fat brain!!!

You are doing great!

Work that brain too. Remind yourself of what you are doing for your

health on the inside as well as your looks on the outside. Re-train

your brain too. I know it is hard, but you CAN do it!!!...and when I

get to where you are I hope you will remind me of the same thing!!!

Have a great day!
