He is not a pet, but every time I get into the flower garden, there is a garden snake who likes to hang out on the front steps, I say Hi !. he says nothing, if he did I would call a psychiatrist!!!!

I have always thought that animals are Gods greatest gift to us

I totally agree! We have a rescue farm of 27 animals and people are always saying how lucky the animals are to have me....that is so not the case! I am so lucky to have THEM! It's even in my medical records that i am healier with then then without them...even though i'm allergic to every single one...i never have trouble with them! I've also been blessed with Dino...a 9 month old 60 lb stray that was found on the side of the road in Jan and he is now my SDIT (Service Dog In Training) and will be able to give me a life outside the house *without* another hunman with me! All my monsters are my life :o) they get me up every morning and make sure i go to bed on time at night lol they are my best friends here on the farm!

Jessi, Dino and all the monsters at Ruby Acres

P.S. we have a new baby, yet to be named. An 8 week old kitten that was thrown out of a truck in front of the house on Sat! Pretty healthy other then a cold, cute little grey tabby.

-- Re: Re: Pets and comfort-

Here is another pet lover, I have 8 springer Spaniels, companions all, the more I relate to them the more they relate to me!

Right now we are on a icecream binge, I love a plate of it after supper, latey I find I must put a lot more out as eager faces sit in front of me, everyone gets a bit.. Me? Lucky if I get a taste! I drop pieces right into their mouths, might lose a finger they love it so!

S'okay I don't need icecream, the waist is spreading!
