Guest guest
I recently ran some finished oils IE-mixed with alcohol + glycerine through a coffee filter. It looked OK ,but I wanted further filtering to remove cloudiness. I put just a bit of bentonite clay 235 mesh on the bottom of a fresh filter unfortunately, some went through the filter. Now instead of cloudy, I have clay residue on the bottom. Help! Any ideas? Thanks Al

It needs to blocks the imperfect pores of the filter. -= ß =- _______________________________________________________

Yes, freezing will " precipitate " or kick out of solution any particulate matter that might form later. Always place back into the filter the first 5-10 cc of product. -= ß =- _______________________________________________________

Then I CAREFULLY syphon off as much as I can with a dropper or pipette. This takes time and patience, but it does work. Guest guest
Hi Cat, Thanks for the tips.I put he frag. in the freezer over night most clay precipitated to the bottom. I used an eyedropper to siphon off the clear liquid. I'll probably use the sediment for solid perfume. Al
