Guest guest
Oh, Helen, my prayers are certainly with you and yours. I hope and pray that Bre comes through this and that the surgery was effective. What a brave little girl she is! I hope that your dog gets better. I hope that you can fix your house. Keep us posted and take care! Tabiangelbear1129@... wrote: Hello Everyone, I wish to make a Group Thank-You to all that sent Prayers and thoughts our way for our little Bre... She came through surgery fine... They took an 8" by 3" strip off her left thigh to graft over her open wound on the left leg... She is to keep her leg completely up for the next two weeks, for the graft to hopefully take hold... Prayers and Thoughts are still needed Please... We will not know until in the next two weeks if this will work... The wound is so nasty, the Dr. still has his doubts... He almost didn't do surgery this morning, as he was still very uncertain... At first he was just going to debree it and do the waiting game for another week, but once he finished cleaning it, he decided to go ahead and graft it, hoping for the best... We are going into our 4th week with this... Fatty tissue and muscle are missing in area's of the wound and it may cause problems with the graft... It will stay covered for the next week, and the Dr. himself will be the first to see it... We left here at 7:30 this morning and got home a little after 9:30 tonight...
