I strain them thru cornstarch. Sometimes just letting the bottles sit for a while will take away the rest of the cloudy look. The tuberose hydrosol is great but I also like to use my jasmine grand, jasmine sambac, and ylang ylang for wonderful florals. Num....... Guest guest
There is a little pic of my tuberose flowers on my alt.perfume page: http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady/perfume.htm I don't know why when I take a pic of a white flower, it turns out pink! You should see the galangal flower on my plants page, it's almost fuscia (really white in RL, though) http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady/plants.htm While I'm musing over my fragrant plants, everyone remember me writing about my peach-scented fragipani? It usually blooms April- Nov, but this year, bloomed constantly, even in the coldest winter months (Miami.) I was able to snip bunches even when the tree was completely defoliated. My attempts at infusing the blossoms in jojoba failed miserably, though. Got a big jar (over a quart) of expensive, rank jojoba as a result. I may try 's method of using food-grade hydrogen peroxide to 'wash' the blossoms first. There is something in the neighborhood blooming right now that gives off a spicy, woodsy scent at dusk. I'm going to walk around tonight to attempt to identify. so many plants, so little time! Anya http://member.newsguy.com/~herblady
