Guest guest
I was wondering why I did see inner thigh, outer thigh and glutes in the exercises for Body for Life. So, I decided to add the on. I was going to use the same intensity approach that Bill uses for his book. However, I started thinking that I don't want my muscles to grow on my hips. I already have shapely hips! I know it is probably composed of some fat. So, instead of doing the BFL approach I did 3 sets of 15. I thought........high reps, low weight will tone them. Can anyone tell me why Bill doesn't have those exercises in his book? Can anyone tell me advice on what to do?
Guest guest
If you look at the 10,000's upon 10,000's of transformations that have occured through BFL, the age ole concept of high reps, low weights has been proven null. I would follow the book.......It has worked for many, I say, " if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it... Wether it's pyramid workouts, ascending or descending sets, they will all do the same in the end. The idea of " toning " is actually the idea of losing bodyfat nd gaining muscle. Whether you like it or not, some amount of muscle will build in those areas The reason he doesn't have those exercises in there is because you'll likely work those muscles when doing compound exercises like squats or deadlifts etc. Some people don't actually work biceps that hard because they get a good enough working as secondary muscles doing other exercises. -- -eve
Guest guest
Thanks for your reply! I thought that those muscle may be worked in the main exercises like squats that he lists. I'm not doing squats or lunges right now. I'm not that good in coordination and balance. I may pick up it later. I am using the machines at the gym that target these the quad and hamstrings like curls and extenstions. I loaned the my BFL book to my cousins. > > I was wondering why I did see inner thigh, outer thigh and glutes in > > the exercises for Body for Life. So, I decided to add the on.
