Guest guest
The only problem I might see here is the sodium these might have! Most processed dinners have loads of sodium, and I don't know about you, but I can tell when I've had too much sodium, I feel all 'water-logged' LOL. Just my 2 cents. Christy in Indiana Re: Re: grrrrrrr bad day - frozen dinners * I noticed Low Carb Lean Cuisines the other day and nearly fell over. It's about time! After years of putting out boxes of pasta they've finally given us a meat portion with a bunch of veggies. Pretty small. It looks like BFLers might need to eat two of them or have something else on the side. I bought a couple but I haven't tried them yet. http://leancuisine.com/CountingCarbs/
Guest guest
another idea for frozen meals is to just prepare enough so that you can freeze the leftovers. I always double my chicken chili recipe and that freezes really well. I also make lots of the banana bread, which isn't in the cook book but I'd be happy to post the recipe if anyone is interested. I make the mini loaves and they're a perfect meal. I also double my batches of protein pancakes, another recipe not in the book but from the bfl board and then freeze them and just pop them in the microwave. I usually take an afternoon on the weekend and cook some things for the week since dh and I have both been doing bfl for about a year. steph in MD

The mornings you are running late, stuck at work during lunch and they order Chinese <G>...those types of things. That way I'm not doing too much damage and still staying on track. Guest guest
Yes please! Both the banana bread and pancake recipies would be fab. Also, how do you freeze the pancakes? wrap them in plastic first? (NZ) > another idea for frozen meals is to just prepare enough so that you > can freeze the leftovers.
